You have various options on how to travel to the island.

Ferry

Caledonian MacBrayne operate a daily service in the Summer season from Oban. They also operate daily from Eriskay for travel throughout the islands.

Plane

Loganair operate daily from Glasgow. The flight takes 1 hour. The approach is stunning and landing on the cockle beach is often a 'bucket wish' for many.

Yacht / Boat

Yacht / Boat - the Marina in Castlebay is open during the season for berthing.

Helicopter

Helicopter - you can hire one I'm sure but check first where to land.

Swimming

Not recommended from the mainland. However, wild swimming in the surrounding shores is popular.
